Had the good fortune to never need a body shop in the 10 years I’ve been in the Bay Area, then it happened.  Being the soft center of an oreo fender bender on the 280.  I was sure I was in for a long and painful process of getting my car drivable again.

Not true!  My State Farm agent told me that Michael J’s was one of their few highly recommended body shops.  I had the car towed there and my great experience began.

I expected the usual greasy hand, T-shirted greeting and the usual story that goes along with that.  But from their first word to me, I could tell that this business really knew where to focus their attention, on the customer!

This group of folks EASILY provides better and more helpful service than the much touted Apple Store Guru’s.  It ended up, that due to the age of my car, it was totaled, so I can’t comment on their work quality but they provided me great insight into what to expect from the insurance company.  Rich gave me a red carpet intro to a VIP free service for a new or used car purchase.  Lastly Rich also hooked me up with a Hertz rental car for what I’d expect to pay for a Thrifty or Enterprise car.

Their service starts with the customer and continues through the repairs.  I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of body shop services or just to see what good customer support is like!
